a month agoOn sat. April 25th I Ordered a steak and cheese stramboli for my hubby , asked the nice gentleman to wrap it good because it waa taking a flight to Florida. Today we heated it up and was delicious . The best steak and cheese stramboli. Philly is the Best. Nothing like it in PC. FLORIDA. Thank you .

6 months agoHuge Rocky fan and visited the neighborhood to see some spots. Grabbed a pizza here not expecting much. Wow was I surprised! Great pie and conversation. Take care of this little spot Philly!

8 months agoStelios is a no frills regular little pizza shop with great food, the old heads that's run it are nice folk and fairly reasonable.

Edited 2 months agoI love coming here it just reminds me back in the '70s and '80s they were fun times. And they still cook their food like back in the '70s and '80s the food is delicious the pizza the Stromboli the onion rings, everything that's in the menu the customer service is amazing they all respectful people. this restaurant I give them 100% What is only one thing I wish they had jalapeno peppers on pizza that would have been awesome!

a year agoWhen I say "I just like plain cheese pizza", this is exactly what I mean. So many people get cheese pizza wrong, and I can only think of 2 other places in the Philadelphia area that make pizza like this. This is the pizza I grew up eating from a small neighborhood pizzeria in Melrose Park. It's simple, but savory and hits the spot. Stelio's is not suited for dine in, unless you just want to stop for a quick slice. It's very small, but the staff are always nice. I'm so happy I can walk around the corner to get good pizza.

Edited 4 years agoThey have the best, cheapest bacon pizza of any pizzerias in the area. I ordered at the counter and they had it ready in about 15 minutes. The crust was crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside, just like it should be. The bacon topping was excellent. It tasted like they had cooked it fresh right before they made the pizza. As of right now they accept credit cards for purchases over $10, which is convenient since many other local businesses do not accept them at all.
